Short answer: GLP Slim is a one-a-day capsule combining berberine, cinnamon, glucomannan, turmeric and two probiotic strains. Individual ingredients have mixed evidence, the doses are small, and the formula has no published trial of its own.

GLP Slim is sold online as a "GLP-1 support" supplement, riding the interest in prescription weight-loss injections. This review sticks to what the official sales page discloses in text, what independent health agencies say about the ingredients, and the questions worth asking before you spend money.

What is GLP Slim?

GLP Slim is a dietary supplement in capsule form, sold in bottles of 30 capsules, which the official website describes as roughly a one-month supply. The brand markets it for appetite, metabolism and the body's natural GLP-1 activity.

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a gut hormone involved in fullness and blood sugar control. Prescription GLP-1 medicines copy that hormone. GLP Slim does not contain any GLP-1 drug; it is a blend of plant extracts, a vitamin, a fiber and probiotics.

What ingredients are in GLP Slim?

According to the official website, each GLP Slim capsule contains the following. Unusually for this category, the page lists amounts, which makes it easier to compare with research doses.

Ingredient (per capsule) Amount listed
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 25 mg
Mangosteen powder 100 mg
Prickly pear extract (4:1) 100 mg
Cinnamon bark extract 100 mg
Konjac root fiber (glucomannan) 50 mg
Alpha lipoic acid 25 mg
Turmeric extract (95% curcumin) 25 mg
Berberine HCl 15 mg
Resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum extract) 12 mg
Bifidobacterium bifidum 1 billion CFU
Akkermansia muciniphila 1 billion CFU

The total weight of active ingredients is a little over 450 mg per capsule, spread across eleven components. That spread matters: most ingredients appear in amounts well below the doses used in the studies people usually cite.

Does GLP Slim work like Ozempic or Wegovy?

No. GLP Slim is not a GLP-1 medicine and should not be compared with one. The FDA describes semaglutide products such as Wegovy as prescription drugs that must come from a licensed provider and a licensed pharmacy (FDA: concerns with unapproved GLP-1 drugs). The NIDDK guide to weight-management medications explains that these drugs went through large clinical trials before approval.

GLP Slim, like every dietary supplement, did not need FDA review before going on sale. The official page itself carries the standard notice that its statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Wording on the page also shifts between "GLP-1 pathway" and more general "hormone pathways," which suggests the GLP-1 angle is marketing language rather than a measured effect.

What does research say about the main GLP Slim ingredients?

Research on single ingredients does not tell you whether this specific blend works, but it shows where the evidence is stronger or weaker.

Berberine. Two meta-analyses of randomized trials found modest drops in body weight, BMI and waist size with berberine (2020 review in Clinical Nutrition ESPEN; 2026 review in the International Journal of Obesity). The trials used far more berberine than the 15 mg in a GLP Slim capsule, typically hundreds of milligrams per day. The NCCIH goldenseal page adds that very little berberine may be absorbed when taken by mouth.

Glucomannan. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements weight-loss fact sheet says glucomannan has little to no effect on weight loss, and that studies used grams per day. GLP Slim lists 50 mg.

Probiotics and Akkermansia. The same ODS fact sheet calls the effect of probiotics on weight "unclear." For Akkermansia muciniphila, a small 2019 pilot study in Nature Medicine reported improved insulin sensitivity, while the change in body weight was not statistically significant (Depommier et al., 2019). That study gave about ten billion bacteria a day; GLP Slim lists one billion.

Cinnamon and turmeric. The NCCIH cinnamon page says benefits for weight loss are unclear. The NCCIH turmeric page says evidence is not strong enough to show benefit for any health purpose.

Riboflavin, mangosteen, prickly pear, alpha lipoic acid and resveratrol. Riboflavin is a B vitamin used in energy metabolism; the ODS riboflavin fact sheet does not describe it as a weight-loss nutrient. We found no government fact sheet supporting the other four for weight loss at the amounts listed.

How do you take GLP Slim?

The official website suggests one capsule a day, 15 to 30 minutes before your largest meal, with a full glass of water. The page also recommends drinking plenty of water, walking for 10 to 15 minutes after meals and sleeping 7 to 9 hours, and suggests using GLP Slim for 3 to 6 weeks before judging it.

Those habits are sensible on their own. The NIDDK's healthy eating and physical activity guide covers the same basics. If you notice results, it is hard to know how much came from the capsule and how much from walking more and drinking more water.

How much does GLP Slim cost?

These are the prices shown on the official GLP Slim page when we reviewed it. Offers change, so confirm the total at checkout.

Package Total price Per bottle
1 bottle (30 capsules) $49.00 $49.00
3 bottles $110.25 $36.75
6 bottles $147.00 $24.50

The page states free shipping on all orders. We did not see bonuses or a subscription on the sales page. The buy buttons on the page use on-page anchors, so the final order form is where you should check quantity, total and any extra offers before paying.

Does GLP Slim have a money-back guarantee?

Yes. The official website advertises a 60-day "empty bottle" money-back guarantee. The page lists a separate refund policy; read it before ordering, because return shipping and the return address are usually set out there rather than in the headline guarantee.

Who should not take GLP Slim?

The official website says GLP Slim is not intended for children or for pregnant or nursing women, and advises talking to a healthcare provider if you take medication or have a medical condition. We would add a few specific cases to that list:

What are the downsides of GLP Slim?

Is GLP Slim worth trying?

GLP Slim may suit someone who wants a single capsule with a transparent label, low per-bottle cost on the larger bundles and a 60-day refund window. It is not a substitute for a GLP-1 prescription and it should not be expected to act like one.

If berberine is the ingredient you care about most, compare it with BurnGummy, which lists more berberine per serving, or read our berberine evidence guide. For a side-by-side view, see GLP Slim vs BurnGummy.
